About Pro Badminton Academy
Pro Badminton Academy is a long-established badminton training centre founded by Ong Beng Teong, former Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and former World No.2 in Men’s Doubles. With over 15 years of coaching excellence, the academy offers world-class training for players of all levels – from beginners to professionals – across both Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Melbourne, Australia.
All badminton classes conducted under Pro Badminton Academy covers all areas of the game, including badminton tips, rules, techniques and tactics for all levels and for players of all ages. Besides Chief coach Ong Beng Teong, there are a team of coaches in both countries that are very experienced in both the game and coaching. Some of these coaches are even former international players or competitive club players from countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Taiwan.

In Australia, PBA operates across multiple venues in Melbourne’s Southeast suburbs, offering structured coaching programs as well as a friendly social badminton environment.
Whether you’re training for junior tournaments, state championships, or just looking to enjoy the game recreationally, PBA Australia provides a welcoming space for all players. Social sessions allow members to connect with other players from across the city.
